Sister Eli Daly is a passionate advocate, therapist, and caregiver whose journey began in 2014 when she was arrested while seven months pregnant. This firsthand experience with the criminal legal system fueled her mission to create practical support systems for women and families. Since 2017, she has been holding informal family peer advocate groups and engagement excursions—initially as a way to cope with probation, now as a lifeline for others who face similar gaps in support services. A proud sister of the Sigma Omega Epsilon Sorority, Epsilon Chapter, she actively promotes Autism Awareness and neurodiversity, believing deeply in the value of inclusivity and empowerment for all individuals, regardless of their background or challenges.
With a Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University, Sister Eli is a licensed Master Social Worker in both New York and Connecticut. Her 20 + year career spans a variety of roles in nonprofit organizations, where she has served as a youth leader, tutor, mentor, case manager in a NYC homeless shelter, and program manager. In each of these positions, she has been dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations and advocating for resources that are both accessible and effective.
