Aneesa Amatus Sabur

Aneesa AmatusSabur started her career in November 2002 with InterFaith Medical Center located in Brooklyn as a Certified Addiction Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) after graduating with a M.S. degree in Community Health from Long Island University. After 12 years of working in New York, she moved to Connecticut where she worked at Bridgeport Hospital as their lead Certified Addiction Drug Counselor (CADC) while working on obtaining her LADC. She currently works for Connecticut Valley Hospital, a state hospital working with individuals with co-occurring disorders, helping individuals find their pathway to recovery. She has over 20 years of experience working in the Mental Health and Addiction service field. She has been dedicated to her work, moving into different positions throughout her career. She currently holds the title of Behavioral Health Unit Director.
